What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a false tooth used to fill a gap caused by a missing tooth. It is held in place by attaching it to the neighbouring natural teeth or dental implants. A common type is the resin-bonded bridge, which is discreet and effective for restoring your smile and function.

Types of Dental Bridge
Traditional Fixed Bridge
This is the most common type. It uses crowns (caps) on the teeth next to the gap to hold a false tooth in between. These crowns are glued onto the natural teeth.
Cantilever Bridge
This type is used when there’s only one tooth next to the gap. The bridge is supported on just one side. It’s not as strong and may put extra pressure on the supporting tooth.
Implant-Supported Bridge
This bridge uses dental implants (metal screws placed in the jaw) instead of natural teeth to support the false teeth. It’s strong, long-lasting, and easier to clean.
