Invisalign is a popular option for teeth alignment in Singapore; it is an alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign is a set of aligners that are used to straighten your teeth and are virtually invisible, which is why they are called "Invisalign clear aligners, or braces invisalign" It straightens your teeth in a gentle and effective way by using a set of custom-made, removable aligners made just for you. Over one million individuals from different parts of the globe have straightened their teeth with the use of this method, which is evidence that it really works!
The Invisalign treatment is a set of clear, removable aligners that are changed every few weeks. It is made with medical-grade solid thermoplastic material, and the aligners are custom-made for you and fit snugly over your teeth. It employs a 3D computer imaging program (ClinCheck®) to accurately simulate your teeth's movement and how they will move from start to finish.
Perhaps the oldest and best-known clear aligner product is Invisalign, which was introduced to the market in 1998 by Align Technology. Invisalign Express, Lite and Moderate offer treatment for various complexities.
As the name suggests, Invisalign clear aligners are a set of aligners that are custom-made and nearly invisible, making them barely noticeable!
Each aligner must be worn for at least 22 hours per day for teeth to move into a better, pre-planned position. Throughout the process, orthodontic records such as photographs, models of teeth and bites, and X-rays—are taken and sent overseas to Invisalign’s specialized laboratory. The laboratory creates a computer-generated 3D image and a simulation of teeth movement on Invisalign’s ClinCheck software. Once you and the dentist view and approve the treatment plan on the ClinCheck software, the clear aligners are manufactured and shipped to Singapore! You are ready to start the process of achieving your new smile!
It can fix a wide range of common teeth alignments problems, such as spacing, open bites, crossbites, overbites, underbites, crowded teeth, and missing teeth, as well as more complicated ones.
This is when the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth. A small amount of overlapping is common, but more severe cases of overbite could cause pain when you’re eating or chewing.
An underbite is the opposite of an overbite. The lower teeth overlap the upper teeth. This may cause problems with eating, chewing, or talking.
A crossbite is where the upper teeth fit behind the lower teeth, which may cause decay or difficulty speaking.
This is where the upper and lower teeth are unable to close to meet each other. This may cause tooth sensitivity and a lisp in your speech.
Teeth spacing occurs when there are larger gaps, as shown in the front teeth above. Gaps between two or more teeth can cause speech difficulties, and food pieces can become stuck between teeth more easily.
This occurs when there is not enough space in the jaw for all of the teeth to grow and fit in. This causes some teeth to be pushed to one side or grow in a twisted position, resulting in mild crowding to intense crowding.

This is one of the main reasons why people say Invisalign is better than traditional braces: its aesthetic nature. Invisalign is a set of aligners that are transparent. It enhances the impression of your teeth. So they are harder to detect than traditional braces and almost virtually invisible! popularly known as Invisalign clear aligners. With no wires or brackets, they’re a discreet alternative to conventional fixed braces.
You can simply remove your set of aligners when cleaning and brushing to ensure optimal oral hygiene. When you take out the aligner, it will be much simpler for you to clean and polish your teeth because you won't have to manoeuvre around the wires and brackets. It is also suggested that this can improve your periodontal health by decreasing the number of bacteria that hide around your teeth and gums.
It is possible to remove it swiftly and simply whenever it is required to do so. You can physically remove the aligner from your mouth if you need to when you want to have your favourite food
The aligners consist of smooth, comfortable plastic which is less likely to irritate your cheeks and gums.
Unlike traditional wires and brackets, you can eat whatever you like during the course of treatment because you remove your aligners to eat and drink!
Straightens your teeth with 75% more predictability—no guesswork—backed up by years of research.
There are a lot of people who wear conventional braces who have anecdotes about a bracket falling off or a wire breaking, which resulted in them having to make an unexpected trip to the orthodontist. Using transparent aligners eliminates the possibility of you experiencing that issue.
Our dentists use 3D imaging to look at your teeth and make custom aligners for you. Before you even start your treatment, you'll be able to see how your smile will look when it's straighter.
You can remove your aligners, but it's easy to lose them.
For the teeth to move effectively, the patient must be willing to wear the aligners for at least 22 hours a day, which is almost all the time. If you believe that you will be compelled to take them out more frequently, this option probably isn't the best one for you.
It does appear to indicate that Invisalign is more successful for individuals whose teeth only require certain types of movement. When dealing with more complicated conditions, your dentist might recommend trying a different method. In addition, if any of your teeth already have crowns or bridgework attached to them, then Invisalign may not be the best choice for you.
Because the Invisalign laboratory charges high fees for the creation of the series of aligners, the cost is frequently higher than the cost of conventional, tooth-coloured/metal fixed braces.
As you can remove and clean your aligners, you must take good care to clean, brush, and floss your teeth to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
You need to remove the retainers before you consume anything, including food and liquid. If you don't do that, there's a chance that food or liquid will get into them. This encourages the growth of microbes along the gumline and along the teeth, which can eventually result in cavities. Additionally, liquid has the potential to trickle down into them, staining both the retainers and your teeth in the process.
