Tooth implants are metal posts, usually made of titanium, that are placed into the jawbone to replace missing tooth roots. A false tooth is then attached on top. Implants look, feel, and function like natural teeth, helping to restore your smile, improve chewing, and support overall oral health.

Tooth Implant Process
Consultation: Your dentist will check the area of missing teeth and take a dental x-ray to assess bone health. They’ll review your medical history to see if implants are suitable for you. Implants are usually done in two stages first, placing the implant into the jawbone, then fitting a crown or bridge later.
Stage 01 – Implant Placement: The first stage of a dental implant procedure involves placing the implant into the jawbone under local anaesthesia. The dentist makes a small cut in the gum, drills a hole in the bone, and inserts the implant. The area is then stitched, and healing takes several months before the next step.
Stage 02 – Abutment Placement and Crown Fabrication: After the implant fuses with the bone, a second procedure is done to place a healing abutment that helps the gum heal. Once healed, the abutment is replaced with a custom-made crown that looks and functions like a natural tooth.
