Dr Low Yi Han is a gum disease specialist, periodontist. He is skilled at treating gum problems like bleeding gums, receding gums and shaky teeth. Studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between gum disease and general health. This is especially for patients with diabetes. Gum disease is preventable and treatable in early stages. The deterioration in the gum condition takes place over a few years, so it is easy to miss the early warning signs like persistent gum bleeding and swelling. Regular dental checkups helps to pick up problems early. People with diabetes may require more frequent dental checkups and cleanings, for example every 3 months, to keep gum disease in control. Dr Low Yi Han works part time at Smilepoint Dental Centre. Please call 6475 1028 to book an appointment with him today.
